Our Pastor
A graduate of Scappoose High School, Willamette University, and Western Evangelical Seminary, Pastor Linda Tucker-Bays was active as a child and teen in the Chapman Community Church of God in the 70’s and 80’s. “That church and its people had a tremendous impact on my life. I’m excited to be back to help the church become an important part of the community once again,” says Pastor Linda. Before coming back to serve at Chapman, Linda worked as a counselor in the Portland area then served Churches of God in Washington in associate pastor roles in the cities of Edmonds and Lacey and as the interim pastor in SeaTac. Linda enjoys combining her theological and psychological training in her work with the congregation. Linda and her husband, Wayne, have two children.
